After we started thinking more seriously about expanding our family, my husband brought up the idea of getting a pet or two. Adult toy breed dogs are very small, and a toy breed puppy is tiny. When your dog is little, you will need to be extra careful with them to ensure that their little body does not get hurt. Make sure that you closely supervise your puppy to ensure that they do not get stepped on or sat on by a family member.
